A Message from Mike Jacoutot to All SHC Associates

LOOKING AHEAD TO A NEW FISCAL YEAR

Did you ever wonder why a rearview mirror of a car is small and the windshield is so big?

Well, maybe you haven’t, but it makes for a great metaphor. You see, building a great company is like driving a car. It calls for us to gain hindsight or experience, by glancing in the rearview mirror and looking back on all that has happened before, which is now history. It calls for us to take the time to reflect on our successes, our failures, our mistakes, and our traditions. It also calls for us to look through the windshield and imagine a better future ahead. We may gain precious foresight by passing on our trials, errors and achievements as lessons in leadership. It calls for us to live in the present, focusing on neither yesterday, nor tomorrow, but rather facing the challenges of what today offers, both passionately and personally--one touch, one phone call, one order at a time.

We have made tremendous progress over the past year. We increased our revenue 40%, making us the fastest growing health care staffing company in the world. You will see this reflected in our new ads and on our website in mid-September. We also increased our net income 100% over last year. I don’t think I can convey in words how proud I am of this organization. Our company is on the right track with industry leading growth and solid profit performance. But let me caution you, building a great company is not something you can take a step back from and admire when complete. It is a journey that requires a desire to achieve and world-class endurance. It requires a self-sustaining culture with strong core values committed to continuous improvement. It is an ongoing process of design, laying the foundation, forming, building, bonding, changing, detailing, refining and renovating. We never quite get it right. It is never perfect. And it is always under construction. Our top priority is to make budget in 2006. This means 41% revenue growth and 125% net income growth over 2005. WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER! If you are in the field, are your budget goals clearly displayed and monitored on a monthly basis? If you are a corporate department or field support are your expense goals clearly displayed and monitored monthly? Remember, “If you’re not keeping score, you’re only practicing!” Each of us makes a difference in our company’s performance.

Take great pride in being a part of such a special company. Make a commitment to yourself that you will strive for continued and balanced improvement every single day. Be the best you can be for yourself and for your teammates. That ladies and gentleman is The Supplemental Way!

Sincerely,

Mike Jacoutot
