PARK CITY, UTAH (February 5, 2009) – Supplemental Health Care today unveiled a sweeping transformation of its corporate identity, changing its tag line from “Staffing Specialists” to “Workforce Solutions.” Though the name of the company remains Supplemental Health Care, the move to Workforce Solutions reflects the company’s focus on providing both their clients, and the health care professionals they place, with a complete suite of solutions designed to meet their unique needs.
The health care industry continues to face severe workforce shortages among doctors, nurses and therapists. Traditional human resource strategies and staffing approaches have failed to deliver sustainable solutions. Faced with mounting budget pressures, increased employee frustration and an emphasis on patient satisfaction, hospitals and other health care facilities are in need of new answers to their workforce problems.
“Typical health care staffing companies are a hammer looking for a nail. Their answer is always the same; more people,” said Mike Jacoutot, Chief Executive Officer of Supplemental Health Care. “We’ve spent the last four years building a comprehensive approach spanning the entire workforce continuum, from skill mix analysis and staff schedule optimization to implementing and managing total outsourced workforce programs. As a workforce solutions company our objective is to contribute to improved patient outcomes for our clients and a positive employment experience for our nurses and therapists.”
Consistently recognized as one of the fastest growing health care staffing companies over the past several years, Supplemental Health Care has developed a variety of proprietary systems, programs and partnerships to deliver on their workforce solutions approach. Regardless of size or census, the company helps health care facilities successfully achieve their financial objectives, surpass their clinical goals, address their current health care professional shortages, and maximize patient and staff satisfaction.
“New demands require new solutions and by offering a customized combination of people, process and technology, we are able to help our clients meet these demands,” said Mary Ann McLaughlin, President, Local Nursing and Allied. “Now, more than ever, health care organizations across the country are facing tough realities. Workforce solutions is about service, quality, and performance – for our clinicians, our clients, and the patients they care for.”
